What People Are Saying
from Google"It’s a five because of the variety, it’s a four because it’s expensive for the every day grocery shopper. There’s a lot of interesting items that a person who either knows how to cook or likes good knickknacks can find some good things here- a lot of one off items that aren’t found in a traditional grocery store. Meal fillers and accompaniments that can make a meal unique. They have some fresh produce, I didn’t see any meat, you can order hot food, wine and THC infused beverages. We enjoyed some cool no alcoholic beverage options they have. The parking was a bit tight out front but we found a space. the people were nice. We spent over $100 within 25 minutes of shopping and we only had a handbasket. Excited to try the items we purchased, but I’ll stick to my more affordable grocery store and then stop by here for the specialty items that I want to put with my meal. they won’t put a store like this in a neighborhood like Jonesboro food desert."
"We came here because it's one of the rare locations that sells Jeni's Cookies & Cream flavor by the pint. It was a bit far from where we live, but the market was cute and the experience was enjoyable, a little adventure on a nice weekend. We arrived when the indoor cafeteria was close to closing, so we ate first before walking around the market. We had a burger with tater tots and a chicken sandwich, both were good quality. The market is small but offers a good variety of products. I went straight for my goal, the Jeni's Cookies & Cream pint, and also picked up a nice haul of mini pints. It's a great market. We’ll definitely visit again if we're in the area or need to restock on ice cream."
"Fantastic grocery store. They have a curated selection and only carry the best versions of whatever you're looking for from chocolate to maple syrup to coffee. The staff is friendly and it's close to downtown. They also have a restaurant and are hosting popup drink nights with Veraison. They special ordered some Meyer lemons for me and then let me know when they were in season again. Basically, it's everything you would want in a neighborhood grocery and way more convenient than driving around to multiple stores looking for high-quality food items or ordering them online. If you haven't been there, it's definitely worth your while."
"I’ll preface this review by saying that I respect EVERYONES right to free speech. However, when that speech is used to sow division and single out a particular group as the object of derision, the one delivering that speech should be prepared for backlash. Today, I decided to sit for breakfast at Gather. After ordering my food, employees and what I assumed to be other customers were gathered at the counter expressing their political views loudly. Cool. No problem until one “brother” started berated Black men who do not vote the way in which he obviously feels like they are obligated to. He called them coons, and in so many words race traitors. This type of hateful rhetoric is more common then most people think, but Gather was not the place I was expecting to have to hear it. I immediately took my order to go and expressed my disgust for what I was hearing. One person told me that the “brother” could say what he wants. The “brother” proceeded to direct his foolish and hateful rhetoric towards me. Assuming that my disgust must mean I was among the “coons” he was talking about and that I “tap dance for the white man” (his words) At a place of business, these type of situations are extremely unprofessional. Leave the hateful rhetoric out of this establishment or be ready to face the backlash that comes with it. Some of us just want to be able to sit peacefully to a nice breakfast on our days off. UPDATE: Despite the hateful and prejudiced rhetoric, name calling and threats made to me in front of the owner, I have been informed that I am the only one banned from this store. I guess sitting around and loudly sowing discord in front of customers is fine as long as it fits a particular ideology"
"I visited this location twice and, the experiences were markedly different. During my first visit, everything went smoothly. I took time to browse the store, made my purchases without issue and departed satisfied. My second visit on December 5, 2024, was disappointing. I stopped in briefly to purchase a specific item. After locating it and approaching the register, I asked a question regarding when more of the product would be delivered. The cashier responded in a snarky and dismissive manner. When I repeated the question, he ignored it and abruptly stated the total. During the transaction, the cashier dropped my change into my hand rather than handing it to or avoiding touching my hand, which felt very uncomfortable and assureidly unprofessional. I requested to speak with a manager and the cashier stated that he was the manager. After further clarification, he indicated that he was the manager on duty but could not provide information regarding when the store manager would be present. I returned the following day in an attempt to address the issue; however, once again, no manager was available. While my first visit was positive, the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and accountability during my second visit significantly impacted my overall impression of this location. I will not return to this location, even if it were the last grocery store available and my survival were contingent upon patronizing it. Thank You"
