from Google"This place has some very delicious food! I do highly recommend that if you are in the area give it a try. Everything that we ordered was amazing except for the gumbo and it was not horrible just kind of ehh. The cakes were delicious as well, they sell by the slice and next door yiu can order a whole cake. I don't think yiu will be disappointed in anything!"
"This is my most favorite place restaurant to eat . I love the atmosphere and character of this place. The food has always been awesome! The service has always been amazing. We have our favorite waitress, Hayley, who we’ve been lucky to get each time we go. Her personality is a delight and she has great people skills. We’re went on my birthday and I feel she really went out of her way to make it awesome. Did I say the food is AMAZING? I will recommend this place to anyone. Thanks Haley! I had a great birthday!"
"I had the day to explore Augusta and needed to eat. The Boll Weevil Cafe just happened to be where I started my Augusta explorations. It's all in assuming exterior, and I frankly didn't get past the bar near the entrance, but I could tell sitting at the tables would have been the same. The atmosphere is what I would call reclaimed factory, with lots of plants and found furniture sprucing up an old industrial setting. The service is quick and kind. The girl at the bar provided the best recommendations of the cinnamon rolls and the Monte Cristo, both delicious, if not way too much for one person. And the live music was spot on for a comfortable Sunday brunch. There's plenty of other places to eat in Augusta, but you have to at least try the cinnamon rolls here. Two lasted me the week!"
"i’m in town for my sisters birthday and great heavens was everything so good, we started by getting sweets at the cotton bug bakery and they said to come here to try the cake, We got the southern gent sandwich and the lemon delight cake. stupidly good food and the cake was so good i thought i’d need new pants."
"Stopped in at The Boll Weevil Café & Sweetery and had a great experience. I started with a cup of their house favorite Tomato Apple soup (fire-roasted Fuji apples and carrots in a tomato base). While it wasn’t quite creamy as described, the flavor was still excellent, especially with the fresh grind of black pepper and sea salt. The K-Rock Italian Club on a very fresh ciabatta roll was delicious, and the pasta salad made a perfect side. Karmun’s service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and really added to the meal. The only small drawback was that my plate was a little warped and wobbly, but it didn’t take away from the overall great experience."
