from Google & Yelp"Im an avid thrift shopper. I thrift at many stores in many states. While this store is absolutely beautiful, I wouldnt consider it a thrift store. I was disappointed to find many used pieces priced higher then buying new. It only took a quick Google search. The furniture section was also very nice but the prices were insane. Like I could buy brand new for some of those prices. Disappointed this "mission" doesnt seen to serve the public, but themselves."
"Mixed Feelings, Great Atmosphere, But Prices Keep Climbing I’ve been a loyal shopper here for a while and have always appreciated the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and the overall quality, especially the café, which is genuinely enjoyable. However, I’ve noticed a steady increase in pricing that’s made it harder to justify purchases. While I understand the need to turn a profit for a good cause, thrift stores should also remain accessible to the communities they serve. Lately, I find myself walking out empty handed more often than not. Some items are even marked higher than their original retail price, like dollar store goods priced several dollars more. And while the furniture selection is nice, many pieces are far out of reach for the average budget. I truly want to support the mission behind the store, but I hope to see pricing that reflects the spirit of thrifting, affordable finds that benefit everyone, not just a few."
"Friendly, Christian, Welcoming. Gather is a wonderful shopping experience with a great curated selection of clothing for men and women as well as furniture and various other items. In the Cafe I got the Cinnamon Roll and Blackberry Lemonade, they were delicious and that cinnamon roll was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life (yes really!). The blackberry lemonade is the perfect combination of sweet and tangy and the blackberry really comes through, it's a perfect refreshing drink to have on a Brunswick summer day. Also, free Wi-Fi!"
"Nice place with a good selection, but the prices are a bit high. When a quality item—like a nice jacket—runs $50, it feels more like shopping at a consignment boutique than a thrift store."
"Love this find! Great prices and super selection. Staff was super sweet and to top it off they have a coffee shop with comfy chairs for the hubby to sit and wait while you shop until you drop! A THRIFTER MUST!!!"
"Gather Thrift and Cafe is what it says, a thrift store attached to a cafe. The cafe was closed when I visited but I did experience the store. The store..."
