"We hosted my daughter's baby shower here with afternoon tea and it was an absolutely beautiful time! It was so nice to walk in and have everything already perfectly decorated and food taken care of. We didn't have to do a thing! Everyone had a great time and the food and tea were amazing! We will always remember the sweet time we had here for our special occasion. 5 stars all the way!"

"We had a baby shower for our son and daughter in-law and they did such a wonderful job. It was a warming feeling when I turned the corner and the room was beautiful where we had it. Being from out of town and planing something sight unseen sometimes can be scary but Cheryl and her team did such a wonderful time. Lynn was our hostess and she did such a wonderful job. If you need a place to plan a party or shower definitely use Sweety’s. You will not be disappointed I promise you that!! Thank you Sweetys team for a wonderful and memorable day. "This place is such a gem and exactly what I wanted for my mom’s surprise birthday celebration with friends and family. Some of them drove more than an hour to join us. Absolute pity that the owner is so rude and inflexible. This type of service will certainly damage her business and reputation. I’ve agreed with Cheryl to prepare high tea for 16 guests, with the possibility of a few additional unconfirmed guests, which can sit at a separate table and can order from the lunch menu. I thought we had an agreeable compromise, but alas. Some guests arrive before me, and Cheryl insisted to know from them how many guests we will be, because it is an inconvenience for the kitchen. It is one thing to discuss the logistics with me, but to have a go at my guests, who was unaware of my arrangements, is unacceptable. This left a bad taste before the event even started. None of us will ever be returning, simply because of this interaction. In my reservation, I stated the special event, but I think it is a moot point, because hostile interactions had very little consideration for the special event we were celebrating. Upon my arrival, my guests informed me of this and I’ve introduced myself to Cheryl and she didn’t even mention any of this to me. We are such an easy going group of friends, who just wanted a pleasant gathering. Clearly Cheryl and Sweety’s aren’t easy going. I really want to conclude this review with some heartfelt advice: put your customers first and be accommodating. People go to Sweety’s for something different/special, give it to them and your business will thrive!"

"Had a six person birthday party here on a Saturday. We did the lunch menu, not high tea. The tea was brewed just right. The food was outstanding. I felt that it was worth the one hour drive from Atlanta. The service was incredibly polite and pleasant. We were served water right away. The tea took about 15 minutes to prepare. The atmosphere is nice with their decor. They definitely are on theme and it makes for a special occasion. What took away from the atmosphere is that you can see into the shopping mall with people, kids, and dogs walking by. It would be better if it was more enclosed and a little more decor for the theme."
