"Came on a Saturday -- highly recommend getting reservations. The ambiance was really nice - not too loud but the hum of humans chatting quietly was really calming. Low lighting and cozy seating is great. Drinks are a standout, excellent selection of options -- and the cocktails are really good! Food was okay, I don't think I would come here for food as a primary motivation -- our entrees all needed a little more acid or heat. Fish dishes came out kind of lukewarm, the pasta dish was too blunt with the cheese being too dense on the pasta and the seafood being really chewy. I'd stick to ordering their small plates Service is good, relaxed, professional with no hovering, just friendly people making sure you're having a good time. Fawn is a place to drink slowly, talk with your friends for a while, and maybe forgive a few culinary missteps because the bar definitely gets the important things right. Definitely will visit again for the bar."

"Good food, good vibes. Cocktails are spirit forward with a great wine list. It is a seafood based restaurant and with cheese/cured fish board. They cure their own fish in house. I got the Caligula drink, really well balanced of spirit, bitter, and sweet. My husband got the bittersweet symphony which was more spirit and bitter forward, still well balanced. For food we got the snapper collar special and razor clams. Both really good. Ended with the affogato. I’d say it’s more of a drinks and bites place verse a full meal unless you do the tasting menu"

"Jenn and Terry Koval have set the standard for the rest of Decatur’s restaurants; not only with delicious food, but how they indeed fawn over their guests with the highest level of hospitality. Don’t be surprised if Jenn fills your water and Terry mixes your cocktail. Fawn Wine + Amaro, their newest adventure, is a clever and successful niche take on the aperitivo concept with a vast wine and Amaro selection that pair with a limited but curated menu."

"Incredible small wine bar! Allie was very knowledgable. They have wines from volcanic regions and we had their Chardonnay sparking (Almacita Winery, Brut Nature, UCO valley, Argentina), as well as a red from Greece - Limino, Savvoglou Tsivolas Winery (“Lemnos Red”) from Lemnos. Chardonnay wine was dry, slightly bubbly, refreshing. Limnio was a light red…dry, oaky, and earthy. We also had an expresso, which was very smooth. Would absolutely recommend!"

"One of the best meals I’ve had in a very, very long time. The space is warm and intimate, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu is as delicious as it is courageous. A refreshing reminder that fine dining should pique your curiosity and test the boundaries of your palette. Can’t wait to go back."
