"I have already written one review of Golden Drops, but I feel the need to write another. I love the atmosphere and coziness here and the music, most of the time, is not loud so I can read. Also, I like a nice quiet place to read my Bible. I am a Christian and made to feel very welcome, whereas in other coffee shops (Starbucks, Spillers) I am met with disapproval when baristas see my Bible. I don't know if they are Christians here, but they always make me feel welcome. Oh, and their oatmilk chai latte is wonderful, as is their specialty Golden Latte. Thank you to the owner for creating Golden Drops, for their warm hospitality and great drinks!"

"The coffee was great, the owner is awesome and friendly. The aroma and taste of the Golden Latte was heavenly. Definitely try the cheese and guava empanada. Delicious sweet and savory."

"This was my first visit here and it was pretty great! The golden latte was delicious. The WiFi was speedy, I loved the outdoor seating and Juan was very personable and easy to relate to! I love that they bring coffee to you. Prices are pretty comparable to other coffee shops and I didn’t feel rushed to wrap up my work or anything like that. The music was pretty modern, but I tend to like a quieter space for work, so I threw my AirPods in and didn’t have any problems. My only very minor complaints are that there’s very few power outlets. You’ll need to bring fully charged devices if you’re intending to work. There were a few dead bugs near the window/bar seating in the inside—not by any means was this extreme. And finally, there is no public restroom that I saw. Coffee is a diuretic so I was very surprised to not see one—but also didn’t ask about one."

"Stopped by this quaint cafe on my way to work. I had always drove past this place while commuting to work over the past 5 years and decided finally to check it out. It was around 3pm when I arrived and there wasn’t any customers around inside or outside. An employee sitting at a window side table sprang up when I entered and cordially welcomed me in and took my order. I decided to get a small golden latte which was their signature drink and a Pao de Quiejo, a Brazilian cheese puff. The latte came out looking and tasting great. There was a nice design in the foam that made felt guilt for trying to break it apart. The coffee underneath it was smooth and just right in terms of caffeine. The cheese puff was also quite something with a slightly toasted outside, but a warm and soft inside that tasted good. Both inside and outside sitting provide good views of Clairmont Road while sipping on a cup of coffee. Overall a good first impression of the cafe. Would love to try their other items in the future."

The music transports you to a Caribbean island, which is just the thing needed when working or studying inside or on the gorgeous patio! Juan & Victor are class acts with impeccable taste. There is truly no place like it!"
