from Google"Amazing place to try authentic Ethiopian food and coffee! The interior is beautiful, very clean, and the service is excellent. We ordered the Ethiopian coffee and it was outstanding. A must-visit spot for anyone looking to try a unique variety of coffee. Be sure to try it both with and without cream!"
"Very rarely am I surprised by ethnic foods. When done right food is "good" at best, usually. Not here at Ethiopiques Cafe. The food is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! I have been eating Ethiopian food since I was a teen, many years ago. I have eaten Ethiopian food from Brooklyn, NY to Washington, DC and downtown Atlanta. I must say, Ethiopiques in John's Creek, GA is the best! What makes it the best? The wait time is awesome, the ambiance is perfect, for the peaceful tranquility of East African culture. The service is better than most 4 star restaurants, and finally, the food is awesome! Have their, Hibiscus Tea (hot or cold). It is a unique blend of East African spices and flowers for relaxing evening drink. The Vegetarian platter is a mix of the most popular vegetarian dishes. Their Injeera, is great. I do not usually eat Injeera but they have a Gluten Free injeera made of "tef" grain. Delicious! I love their "Foul" (pronounced fool). A dish made of Fava Beans, eggs, jalapenos and tomatoes (get it!) You cannot go wrong with their Lentil Sambusas. Try everything on their menu, you will take a brief trip to East Africa right here in Georgia. P.S. ask for server named Sky!"
"Ethiopiques Cafe and Restaurant is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the very personable and attentive staff - Our servers, Reese and Ethan, gave us the best customer service—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout our visit. There were five of us, and we ordered Lentil Sambussa, Mango juices, Ful, large vegetable platter and a small platter. The portions were huge, fresh, and absolutely delicious—more than enough for everyone. The flavors were incredible, and we enjoyed every bite while listening to soothing live music - def a relaxing atmosphere. Must try the mango juice and signature spice powders and sauces—they really do elevate the flavors! Liza, the owner is soo sweet! She is so personable & warm. She also shared that every Sunday from 1–3 pm they host a complimentary Ethiopian tea ceremony, which sounds like such a beautiful tradition. Def coming for that experience. This place has it all—yummy food, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who loves flavorful food in a warm and inviting setting. Highly recommend- You won’t regret it :)"
"One evening we just felt like trying Ethiopian food and on searching for a place, we found this restaurant. It was nice and cozy. There were some take out orders but we were the only ones to sit and dine there that night. The server was good and explained us patiently about the different menu items. The food was delicious and the chocolate cake was among the best we’ve tried anywhere so far. I would definitely recommend trying this out and we’ll be going again for sure."
"Second Visit, Still Impressed! We had another great experience here! The chicken tibs were delicious once again, and we really enjoyed the nice ambiance. Everyone was very friendly, and I definitely recommend trying this place!"
