Family-owned by Brandon and Carrie Lawler, this café brews in the bones of an old bakery, where community and coffee just belong. "Wonderful cafe to come across while I was in town! Has quite an artsy/cozey feel to it, and the christmas lights were a nice touch. The attentive barrista's made the coffee really well, while the breakfast burrito can rival that of Java Jukebox Breakfast & Coffee in KY. Definitely stop by, you won't be disappointed!"

"Best breakfast burrito of my life! I got it vegetarian style, with extra egg, and it was SO delicious. Dipped it in salsa and sour cream. It was wrapped and toasted perfectly, didn’t drop a single bean! The Americano was also perfect. But the burrito truly blew me away! Also: staff was infectiously cheerful, decor cool, establishment clean and tidy. Loved the candles floating from the ceiling! Can’t wait to come back for more!"

"Found this cute little coffee shop while visiting my dad at the nearby Rehabilitation center. Has nice outside seating as well as plenty of inside seating. Lots of pastries and breakfast items to choose from. You are greeted with a friendly welcome to village coffee and a warm smile when you walk in. They explain the menu to you, give you suggestions, get to know you a little while your placing your order. I ordered the chocolate chip muffin (was huge), a chorizo burrito without the eggs (delicious) and it's a full size burrito. I got a salted caramel iced coffee (delicious). Food came out quickly, drink was brought to my table by the barista. After I was done... because they were not busy at the time, the barista came over and took my finished plate and offered me water or anything else. They heated up my muffin for me after I ate my burrito. They went above and beyond to make this experience special for me. I've already texted my sister and daughter to come here next time we're visiting my dad. This is my new weekend spot. Oh and they have kids books and board games for the family."
