from Google & Yelp"It’s off the main tourist path but definitely worth checking out! This is everything I’ve ever wanted to experience in a”hometown” coffee shop! There’s a certain warmth here that you won’t find in any other coffee shop in town. The old house is so charming and inviting with its wraparound porch for outdoor seating on nice days. As soon as you step through the door the staff welcomes you with a friendly smile and kind service. There’s a beautifully decorated front room with plenty of seating where you can select your own cozy spot to drink your coffee or have a conversations with friends. There’s also a front hallway that offers a roomy open space with a couch for a casual group gathering as well as a high top table along the wall for working on your laptop if you need a quiet place to study. Aside from all the lovely decor, the coffee was so good! They have several options available on their menu for different coffee styles and they also offer some pastry treats if you need a bite to eat with your coffee. One of the things I enjoyed most about this experience was that they have a prayer wall where you can write an encouraging word or a prayer request for yourself or a friend. It’s my new favorite coffee house and I will definitely visit again whenever I’m back in town!"
"My mom and I went. We both enjoyed the coffee. It is smooth and has very little acidity. I had a latte and mom had a white chocolate mocha. We shared a cinnamon roll. It was all delicious. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is clean, cheerful and comfortable. The only complaint is that the tables are adjustable so they slide down when you lean on them. It was uncomfortable. We will be back because everything was delicious and it was cozy inside. The register does ask for a tip but all the tips go to the employees."
"This was the only coffee shop open downtown at 4 which prompted us to make the trek. So happy that we did. The cookie butter latte and the Vanilla Chai/Cold brew were fantastic. The barista was very friendly and sweet as well. We will definitely be back!"
"The barista was very kind, and I really loved the scripture printed on the cup, such a thoughtful and uplifting touch. Unfortunately, my drink missed the mark. I ordered a half-sweet caramel latte, but it ended up being the sweetest latte I’ve ever had. It was entirely too hot, to the point where the milk tasted scalded and I had to spit out my first drink because it burned my mouth very badly. The drink tasted like artificial caramel-flavored milk, and I couldn’t taste the coffee at all (not helped by the fact that my taste buds were basically burnt off). I truly wanted to love this place! I've heard such great things, and the reviews are all excellent. But the drink was disappointing."
"My daughter and I recently discovered this quaint little coffee house in our town. We have since been visiting once a week. I love the coffee, but what I love even more is that they put a bible verse on your cup. There is nothing like Jesus and a good cup of coffee anytime of the day. I have even found that the verse on my cup was meant for me and the same for my daughter. The ladies we have encountered have all been wonderful. The merch is super cute, too. The seating area is warm and inviting with adequate space to read (they have books available), work, or study. If you are looking for great coffee with a side of encouragement, I highly recommend you head over to The Green House. You will be happy that you did."
"AMAZING FOOD!! Tastes like the food I grew up eating. Staff is super welcoming and friendly, and I already feel like family on my second visit. If you..."
