from Google & Yelp"A perfect exercise in hedonism! This is a perfectly clean spot for your sugar surge. The variety of donuts is excellent. I purchased ten and I have no regrets. The establishment is clean and the service is superb. Sometimes you just have to have your sugar.🍩🧁🍰"
"I’m genuinely so glad Heirloom Donuts made the switch from frying their donuts in seed oils to frying them in beef tallow. This isn’t just a trendy change—it’s one that actually makes sense from a nutritional and chemical standpoint. Seed oils (like soybean, canola, or vegetable oil) are high in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), which are unstable at the high temperatures required for frying. When heated repeatedly, these oils oxidize and form harmful byproducts like aldehydes and lipid peroxides, which research has linked to inflammation and oxidative stress in the body. Beef tallow, on the other hand, is rich in saturated and monounsaturated fats, which are far more heat-stable. This means fewer oxidation products during frying and a cleaner, more traditional fat source—exactly what was used before industrial seed oils became common. From a food chemistry perspective, tallow simply performs better under high heat. The result? Donuts that taste richer, fry more evenly, and align better with how real food was historically prepared. It’s refreshing to see a place prioritize both flavor and science. Heirloom Donuts is proving that better ingredients really do matter—and you can taste the difference."
"Very friendly staff and a great selection of doughnuts. The peanut butter cream and the apple bacon were fire. Coffee was typical. Will definitely stop by again when in the area."
"1st Time Purchasing! A Must Try! The Shop Is So Cozy! Staff Were Patient. This Is The 1st Time In A Long Time I’ve Had Very Soft Delicious Donuts! I Can’t Just Eat 1! These Are My Fav So Far! I Have To Come Back For More!"
"We used to love this place. But most unfortunately they now fry all donuts in nasty beef tallow. They no longer use vegetable oils. We will not be coming backed. We used to come once a month. And every party we had we would buy several dozen donuts instead of cake or cup cakes else where . We will no longer be supporting this business because of their choice to switch to cow fat"
"Disappointed in their new model of production/supply. What made Heirloom unique was their in house baking of goods such as duffins, pudding bread, brownies,..."
