from Google & Yelp"Excellent Cuban sandwiches. Authentic. Tiny building. No indoor seating. Only outdoor tables in the parking lot. But, they keep them clean and it's not a busy parking lot. Only a few niche businesses share the lot. Still, most everyone does take out. A definite go to place if you are craving a big, tasty, authentic Cuban sandwich."
"I'm disappointed in this place. It offers something needed in Sandy Springs, but falls short. First the food offerings. The coffee flavor is ashy and burnt - nothing like the delicious smooth and creamy Cuban con leche of other restaurants, and from what I remember of La Carreta in Miami and Fort Lauderdale for 10 years. I've been there multiple times over the past 5 years that I've lived in Sandy Springs and I'm disappointed as hell every single time. They also don't have guava pastry (no cheese, please, if anyone's asking, thank you.) I want to have have Cuban coffee with the Cuban pastry, together. I think they could easily partner with the other Cuban restaurants across town to buy the authentic guava pastries have them delivered and ready at least Saturday morning 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 This is just a small place, like a food truck in a parking lot of a shopping center. So it doesn't have a dining room or anywhere shaded or protected to sit - or even protected to order from the window, you have to stand in the rain and sun. It's so high off the ground you have to walk up these very steep scary steps with no safe place to stand. For some reason, the wood deck that was built such that you can't simply walk from the ordering window to the pickup window where the sugar and napkins are - you have to go down steps, around, and then up steps again. It's awkward and I hate it. Then once you got your coffee you just simply get in your car and leave, or sit in the parking lot and drink it. If they're catering to drivers, they need to have a drive-up window. If they're catering to people who are going to sip their coffee and enjoy the morning, then put up some tents or large, side post cantilever umbrellas and ton of irrigated potted plants. The sun is usually blaring down on you. There's no trees to soften the giant parking lot and buildings and huge empty sky, no porch roofs, no overhanging tree branches to provide softening and refuge. - this is a landlord problem as much as it is their problem. I'm not sure what it would take for them to get a couple of tents and tables set up to provide plenty of shade and comfortable place to sit and enjoy your coffee. And dig out some of the asphalt and put in some trees with some good soil and irrigation. Perhaps there's such a high cost involved and the landlord won't work with them on it. But the real estate in this area of Roswell road is having so many vacancies... This can be a fantastic addition to our weeknd breakfast options in Sandy springs!"
"One of the best coffees I’ve ever had — rich flavor with the perfect texture. The staff are incredibly sweet and provide amazing customer service. Highly recommend, especially for coffee lovers! ☕✨"
"I'm not sure what changed here recently but I ordered the El Tampa and it was served without the advertised mustard and pickles, so it was very dry and the meat was underwhelming. Their sandwiches used to be the best! I overheard a man go up returning his sandwich for the same reason as I was leaving, no pickles or mustard. I would have done the same if I hadn't been short on time for lunch."
"The coffee here is outstanding, rich, smooth, and full of flavor. Their sandwiches are just as incredible: fresh ingredients, great combinations, and perfectly prepared. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!"
"Cubanos is little more than a food stand located in a parking lot by a busy road, but service is efficient at and the food is solid. I recommend the ropa..."
