What People Are Saying
from Google"I’ve consistently had excellent experiences with Perc, their baristas, and their coffees. As a judge for national coffee competitions, I tend to hold coffee shops to a high standard, and Perc meets that bar every time. I’m not local to Savannah, but I visit fairly often because I have family in the area. Each time I’m in town, I make a point to stop by the shop—and when my relative visits me, they bring a bag of Perc coffee along. Over the years, I’ve tried many of their coffees, both brewed in the café and at home, and I’ve never had a cup that missed the mark. On my most recent visit, I ordered four drinks: - Ethiopian Chechele Single Origin Espresso - Ethiopian Chechele Single Origin Cortado - Brazil Legender Cortado - Coquito Latte with oat milk (holy smokes this was good!!) All four were phenomenal. What set this visit apart, though, was the level of service. Every barista I interacted with was hospitable, skilled, and knowledgeable. Carlos stood out in particular. I had met him only once, more than a year ago, yet he recognized me immediately, remembered my name, and took a moment to say hello and welcome me back. It was a small gesture, but a genuine one, and it speaks to the culture they’ve built. This attention to detail from Perc isn’t new, either. When I’ve ordered bags of Perc coffee through Trade (a coffee subscription service) one shipment included a handwritten note saying hello and thanking me for the order. It was yet another gesture that showed care and intentionality and made me smile. Those consistent, intentional touches combined with the quality of their coffee elevate Perc to a position among the best coffee shops I’ve visited not only in Savannah but across the U.S."
"This coffee shop has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Starting off, their menu is not big, and that’s a great thing. Each of their items are so unique, you don’t need many options. I didn’t expect “habanero sugar” to work in a coffee, but I didn’t sense any spice. It seemed to just add depth to the latte. So don’t let that turn you off from trying anything. The coffee was rich and flavorful, rather sweet but the flavors somehow balanced it out in a shocking way. Sampling the espresso from the top of the latte before mixing it in just proved how great it was. I never have enjoyed espresso straight because I find the acidic twist to be distasteful, but there was no acidity to be found in their roast. It was incredible. We got the “My Morning Jacket” and will be going back tomorrow to try more of what they have to offer. They have non-coffee options, oat milk, insanely delicious-sounding food options, and their own coffee beans that they roast in house. They sell them whole or will grind it for you. Sitting in there and working while drinking coffee would be a dream. They have outlets by the high tops and multiple tables to sit at. The atmosphere is nice and bright while relaxing, and the sound level is quiet to moderate depending on the time. Don’t sleep on this place. If you absolutely LOVE coffee and espresso, you have to try Perc."
"This is the best coffee I've had in Savannah so far. They roast and sell their own coffee beans, and the packaging design is absolutely adorable! The shop has plenty of seat, making it suitable for business meetings, gatherings, or studying. There are also outdoor seats in the backyard!"
"PERC Coffee is such a gem - amazing lattes, fresh pastries, and a cool, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and the vibe makes you want to stay longer. Definitely a spot I’ll return to in Savannah!"
"Customer service isn’t the focus of Perc, but their coffee is great and the vibe is chill. The baristas are nice, but there are times when I feel like I’m back in Europe and they truly are just there to make you coffee and that’s it. Not a bad thing. Just an observation. Overall, I’ still recommend it just for the overall vibes."
