from Google & Yelp"Best lattes and cappuccino around. Finally found me a coffee shop that serves a good cappuccino. Love the atmosphere of the shop as well. Skip the chain or drive-thru coffee shops and make the stop here and support a local business."
"On my initial visit years ago they were honestly mid. Brew was unremarkable but not bad; whole beans were overpriced and lackluster. Was out and about when I decided to see them again and they’ve changed places, hired some baristas that know how to make a good coffee, and now have bespoke Roasts. Overall improvement. Look at this latte art! Very Gud Coffee with a nice atmosphere."
"i recently visited the GUD Coffee Co at 133 N Patterson St, in Valdosta, GA. I went into downtown Valdosta and stopped for a light breakfast. I was nicely greeted and placed my order for a Danish and a coffee. It's a very nice place in the lobby of a hotel. There were many people enjoying the morning. It is a place I will go back to. Very nice."
"I’ve had good experiences here before, which is why this visit was disappointing. I ordered a hot matcha latte, but it was prepared with water that was too hot, resulting in a very bitter aftertaste. I politely explained this to the barista and asked for a different drink, noting that matcha is sensitive to temperature (similar to how overcooked spinach becomes bitter). I’ve ordered matcha here before and have also worked as a barista, so I’m familiar with proper preparation. Instead of offering to remake or replace the drink, I was met with confusion and was told I would need to pay for a second drink. I understand mistakes happen, but good customer service means trying to make it right when they do. I wasn’t looking for an apology or an explanation of why I was “wrong,” just a simple effort to do right by the customer. I ended up ordering a regular latte, which was much better, though I was told, “I don’t know if that will be much better,” which felt unnecessary given that it clearly was. This feels less like a one-off mistake and more like a training or management issue, either around customer service expectations or understanding the differences between preparing matcha and espresso drinks. I’ve had a wonderful barista here in the past, which makes this experience stand out even more. You don’t have to be overly friendly or outgoing, but customers shouldn’t feel blamed when a drink isn’t prepared correctly."
"Such a great place. The coffee was great. So was the Jasmine Green tea. The smoothie tasted fresh, not too sweet, just right. (Peanut butter smoothie) I had a club sandwich and it was great, I normally don’t like aioli sauce but it tasted great in the sandwich. I also had the raspberry bagel. It was perfectly sweet. The service was great, there was barely a wait, and the atmosphere was nice. Can’t wait to come back here!"
"Great large coffee shop in downtown Valdota. On a road trip from Tampa to Atlanta and needed to stop for a few hours to catch up on work, and decided to..."
