"A must stop on Big Island. They offer free coffee samplers. We visited the small but very interesting museum - it's all about coffee! They sell deliciously roasted and locally grown coffee. It's the world-famous Kona coffee. We could not resist and bought two packs. There is plenty of parking in front of the coffee center. Other visitors told us that a lava tube can be visited as well. Obviously, it's just around the corner. We skipped it as we ran out of time."
"This is one of the most wonderful surprises of the island that we encountered. I had this place on my itinerary, and rightfully so. It is a very chill, relaxing coffee shop, mill, and museum. The museum portion is free. There are a lot of tables on which to sit and enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean from the top of the hill. Get any of the coffee toasts or blends-it really doesn't matter. They are all delicious. There is a small lava tube to explore that's really cute on the premises. Just be careful on the hill on the way to it. We really enjoyed this place for its comfort and serenity."
"We stopped here on Christmas Day. Most other coffee farms were closed, so we were very lucky this place was open as it fit our itinerary perfectly. I hesitated to buy the Peaberry beans because they were about double the price of regular beans, but I am so glad I did! They were delicious—very rich and full-bodied. The shop offers more than just coffee; they also have candy, ice cream, tea, and souvenirs like Aloha shirts. The view from the open-air deck, looking out over the forest down to the ocean, was absolutely wonderful."
"Purchased Cherry Hill Kona coffee in Kailua next to Fish Hopper restaurant. Old, dry beans, no color to beans, no sheen,, terrible, terrible, terrible. Tasted like warm water. I don’t know what the product should taste like."
"Such a beautiful place!! Definitely reccomend you stop by even if it's just to grab a coffee and sit on the lanai and enjoy the view. Staff are great too...."
