"Ever had Taro donuts before- must try if not. Freshly made to order donuts Limited flavors based on the week but they do have a few permanent donuts. Lucky enough to have tried Holey Grail in Hanalei, Honolulu, and Long Beach. But the Hanalei location is the best imo. Island feel definitely. Their coffee is really good and they use cashew milk. The classic 4 donuts are all good but the weekly specials are great. Lucky enough that we have a group of people to share multiple donuts"

Each donut is finished with care, and the ingredients taste fresh and thoughtfully chosen. "The donuts were fluffy, soft, and perfectly warm but the flavors were a bit bland. We got ube, chocolate, original, and lilikoi and only the lilikoi really stood out, while the others tasted pretty similar. They didn’t have Americano, so I ordered a black coffee that tasted more like a cold brew which actually turned out great. The chocolate latte was also good."

"(Late review - July 2024) A viral donut shop where all the influencers raved about. It’s located in a quaint food truck area. My husband and I had high expectations from all the recs. The service was swift and courteous. Everything is outdoors so the seats are picnic tables next to the truck. The donuts are beautifully crafted, enticing to the eyes. I can’t say the taste is the same. The donut texture and flavors did not stand out nor memorable. I recalled the donuts were on the dense side. Bottom line: Not worth the hype."

"Amazing!! The views are beautiful and the family ruining it are so kind. We had the Original Sin, Mission Chocolate, Strawberry Fields & Snickerdoodle donuts. Made fresh with a 5-7 minute wait to grab your order. They were warm, melty & perfectly soft. The taro flour makes ask the difference. I highly recommend the Original Sin if you could only pick 1. For coffee, get the Vanilla Latte or the a Vanilla Chai and make it dirty."
