from Google"This is a locally owned and operated food truck with an extremely convenient drive-thru. On a Saturday morning, they were very busy. However, it was well worth the wait for my Toasted Coconut Iced Latte. Honestly, this was the richest, creamiest, most flavorful latte I've ever had! I loved that it came with decadent extras, like whipped cream and toasted coconut-flake topping. It seemed a bit expensive, but it was definitely the highest quality and most deluxe espresso beverage that you can get in Hilo. I also really appreciated the lovely woman who was literally running around, trying to serve customers as quickly as possible. She was very helpful and never stopped smiling!"
"Had a great experience! I just got a 3 count of the original with cinnamon sugar. They were made fresh and so good!! She said they came out a little small so gave me 3 extra for free. I was a little wary because of the other reviews but definitely recommend checking this place out."
"It’s a Sunday my baby is sleeping in the car my toddler is up so I don’t want to go in the grocery store to get donuts. I decided to try this drive through place. I order the cinnamon sugar 3 for $10 malasadas. I have eaten Malasadas from Tex drive in, Kona Manuela Malasada, and KTA. My order was very bidder on the outside extremely crunchy so I’m assuming burnt, and then the dough was strange so thick like a bagel not even comparable to any malasada I’ve ever eaten. I regret the $10 spent and I won’t be a customer any more."
"Absolutely amazing! We stumbled on this place while in Hilo and we would come back to Hawaii just for their malasadas. They are fried and filled fresh to order. We got the poi as they were out of original (I can't speak to which is better, but the poi version were so good that I'll plan to order them whenever it's available). We got them filled with guava, ube, liloki, cookie butter, creme brulee, and mango. Highly recommend all flavors, but the cookie butter, creme brulee, liloki, and ube were especially great (the ube was mindblowingly good - it tasted like chocolate). The malasadas were warm, with a light perfect crisp shell on the outside and pillowy soft insides that explode with a generous filling (ask for extra napkins!). This place is worth seeking out, whether you're in the area or not."
"The malasadas were great!!! The dough is dense and soft inside, just the right amount of crisp and sugar outside! I was delighted to find so many options for fillings! I got 6 different flavors, the ube cheesecake was my favorite! I can't wait to try their acai bowls next time too!"
