What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Drink: got their coconut with macadamia nut latte and it was decent. Their purple sweet potato haupia bar was good, not too sweet. Service: it was a quick wait time from ordering my coffee to picking it up Atmosphere: nice interior decor with a big coffee machine on display"
"Went in the afternoon on a weekday, it was quiet and no line. Grabbed the cereal milk croissant and the cinnamon apple morning bun. Both were so delicious and the filling inside was next level. Ladies at the front desk were helpful and kind."
"Decided to check out the cause of increased congestion on this part of King Street. Went in the late morning and it was very crowded. It took about 30 minutes to get my drink order and about 15 minutes to get my pastry order, even though all of the pastries were displayed at the counter and new pastries were being brought out from the kitchen every few minutes. The workers were friendly enough. The biggest downside is the value. As another reviewer accurately pointed out, the coffee is way overpriced for what you get, as are the pastries. My medium latte was $8 and was unremarkable in terms of taste…disappointing for a place that makes a big deal about their roasting process. All of their pastries and baked goods are also about $8 a piece and are similarly unmemorable. I tried seven of their pastries and the only ones that were worth writing home about were the Ube Chantilly Croissant and the Kona Chip Muffin…but I wouldn’t get them again since they’re so expensive. The weirdest thing is how out of place this shop feels in the neighborhood. Mo’ili’ili isn’t exactly a tourist destination, so I’m a bit doubtful if this place will make a lasting impression here. It’s not like it’s at an affordable price point for the nearby University students anyway."
"The newest location to this well-known local franchise keeps the high quality coffee products and amazing service in a smaller sized cafe with a long but fast-moving line & the majority of seating outdoors. Once inside, you’ll find their coffee roaster from their previous café, souvenirs, and a familiar menu. A shaded patio in the back is nice, but when the weather turns bad…the very limited indoor seating will leave you standing in a bare interior layout…and crowded when the university students are back…we’ll see 🤙🏼"
"There is a parking lot behind the building and you get 1 hr of free parking (scan the QR code). There are about 5 or so seats inside and the rest is outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered. They have 2% milk. I preferred the larger previous location but it seems like they have a lot more pastry options here."
"I love Honolulu Coffee and finally got to check out their newest location on my day off. My mom and I parked in the back lot (1 hour free and each hour..."
