from Google & Yelp"We came to Cafe VNTG on a recommendation from a local. Boy were we surprised! The cafe is a chic joint tucked inside an interesting and ecclectic furniture store, which features amazing pieces, dominated by resurrected mid-century modern gems, some of which adorn the walls on shelves. For lunch I ordered a fully loaded “The Works”smoked salmon bagel, which with everything includes cream cheese, lox, cherry tomatoes, capers, and sliced purple onions. Delicious! The toppings are generous and it was one of the best toasted bagels I’ve had in a long time, not too dense but not too fluffy, standing up well to the savory lox and thick schmear of cream cheese. I couldn’t finish it but didn’t want to stop eating! 😋 It went well with the lilikoi iced tea they served up, and we got to sit on their couches and lounge while eating, too. Top that off with some fun tunes and we got such a unique vibe… we are definitely coming back! (Also to shop for furniture and decor… and we told all of our friends about it in case they find something that goes well in their home.)"
"Parking: no parking during the week and you’ll have to either park near the car. Location: the maps would show you a back building which I was confused but just turn to the next street where you’ll find a sign coffee. Ambiance: I thought this place was like red knot or something but I guess you can make it your vibe to sit anywhere, maybe but the furniture if you liked the price. Since I’m like 5ft the table is a bit too tall for me, I kinda felt smaller ordering but I guess not much people are short. Drinks: The matcha was bitter, but the foam and the syrups makes it better but I would say it’s a maybe with the drinks but you just have to try but I just think it’s not grand but it’s what you get. There is Hawaii Inspired matcha to try so it’s localized. Food: There is 3 types of bagels, I thought there was only one but there was a basic selection and they have everything bagels which was so good it wasn’t too hard to chew it’s soft very delicious. Update: I paid cash but it takes a while, I’m not sure if I’ll get my change back but there wasn’t like it was easy transaction. I wished they was prepared in cash so it doesn’t feel like I’m waiting a while. 20 min left: Now I left because the owner was there and he did nothing to give my Cash change back, and I left and then he left with a women I’m assuming his wife. The baristas are so sweet but the owner no apologies, no I’m sorry I ran out, it’s worst when the owner has no customer service. How can you make a business when you can’t even acknowledge the customers?"
"Had the most delicious lavender matcha (will be going back for this). Also the Brazilian cheese bread bites were sooo good. Definitely a cute spot that was quiet. I was able to work on my computer with no distractions."
"If you want some seriously good coffee, and great food in a place with a comfy/homey warehouse vibe this is for you! I had one of the top few double espressos of my life (which has been rather long) at Café VNTG. The barista Ken took great care to preheat the cup, then I watched as he ground and tamped the shot, and made it. Perfect firm crema, very aromatic, just the right barely bitter bite on the back of the tongue, and a long finish. They certainly found a great roaster, and know what they are doing! I also tried the smoked salmon bagel with the works (cream cheese/tomato/capers/lettuce. The bagels are great and the whole thing was amazingly good. If you go, find a nice midcentury chair and relax. As you look around you'll realize that you are amidst a rather incredible collection of very high quality furniture, and it's all for sale. You'll learn first hand why people are so keen on MCM furniture - it may look oddly modernist and quirky, but every piece is designed for comfort as well, with quality meant for decades of use."
"Terrible service - it took over 20 minutes for our 2 drinks to come out . I ordered the Vntg matcha and didn’t even get what I ordered. The drink was supposed to come with lavender cold foam but what I got was milk and matcha with no flavor no cold foam (pictured what I got vs what was advertised). For the price this place is not worth it."
"Food and drinks are great. And the vibe is good, but music is way too loud. There are tons of places to sit and do your work, but the music is deafening and..."
