What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This is a small coffee shop but I went several times during my stay because the Hawaiian latte was probably the best coffee I've ever had in my life. So, so good. Everyone was friendly and I got my coffee fairly quickly as I was pretty early (5:30-6 range). Later in the morning, it'll take longer so be prepared for that. It was REALLY nice having an option besides Starbucks at that hour."
"When I am in Waikīkī I like to grab a coffee and açaí bowl in the morning or heading to the beach. I got the Hawaiian latte- which has coconut and macadamia nut syrup which is a little too sweet for me. I also wanted an açaí bowl so I got the classic- acai with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and granlola. It was very big for 1 person, I probably should have gotten a chia yogurt for something smaller. Service was great and quick, there’s some seating inside and it’s really busy. Kind of on the pricey side, it was about $30 with tip for my coffee and açaí bowl."
"Honolulu Coffee at the Moana Surfrider is a total evening gem! Popped in at 8 PM, and it was gloriously chill—no crazy crowds, just pure Waikiki calm. Ordered a pot of tea, and wow, it was next-level delicious—smooth, rich, high-quality stuff that had me sipping like a happy camper. The staff were super sweet, all warm smiles and aloha vibes, making the whole vibe feel like a cozy hug. Perfect spot for a laid-back nightcap brew. 85/100—tea’s a star, and the chill factor’s unbeatable"
"Located next to the historic Moana Surfrider, the oldest hotel in Hawaii, Honolulu Coffee Company is an excellent spot that captures the essence of a perfect morning. As the saying goes, when you’re in the right place with the right mood, everything feels magical—and this café delivers exactly that. Situated on the charming porch of a colonial-style building, it’s an ideal place for sipping a flawlessly brewed Kona coffee while indulging in some prime people-watching. The real star of our visit was the quiche—hands-down the best we’ve ever tasted, with a perfect balance of flavors and a buttery, flaky crust. Paired with their expertly roasted coffee, it made for a delightful, laid-back breakfast that didn’t break the bank. For anyone looking to soak in the Hawaiian vibe in a relaxed setting, Honolulu Coffee Company is a must-visit. Highly recommended for a magical start to your day!"
"Great chai latte and acai smoothie, with a gluten free oat cake (only gf bakery option). Pricey menu but to be expected and cute atmosphere inside"
"My friends made a spontaneous visit to Hawaii and booked a stay at the gorgeous Moana Surfrider - a place locals acknowledge but don't really enter...."
