"Great tasting coffee!!! The Gibraltar was easily one of the best coffee I have had for a long time, and this includes all the mainland US coffee shops I have been to. Just the perfect blend of everything in this coffee. 💯 Since this is inside the Prince Waikiki hotel, expect long queues in the morning during breakfast hour. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their goodies and coffee beans (which I did). Overall, highly recommended especially if you are staying at Prince Waikiki! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐"
"DO NOT VISIT THIS BRANCH IF YOU WANT TO AVOID A RACIALLY-CHARGED OR HUMILIATING INTERACTION. This location should be avoided until the management addresses the severe issue of intentional staff disrespect. Worst customer service ever! Deliberate disrespect and discriminatory behavior ruined our honeymoon memory! I visited this Honolulu Coffee branch on Wednesday, Nov.12 at around 10:30a.m., expecting a pleasant experience. Instead, I received the worst customer service of my life, which has unfortunately become the worst memory of our entire honeymoon. I was not rude, I did not disrupt the business, and I simply ordered like any other customer. But the male employee wearing a grey shirt (the only male staff member at the counter) was intentionally rude from start to finish. 1. Intentional Mockery / Refusal to Communicate: When I asked for the size (in ounces) of the Iced Americano, he deliberately repeated "There's only one size" four times in a row with an extremely contemptuous and mocking tone, clearly refusing to provide the ounce measurement and signaling he did not wish to serve me. He refused to state the actual size, clearly signaling a desire to not serve or engage with me. 2. Continued Hostility: When I returned to the counter to ask for the receipt, he maintained his hostile glare, said absolutely nothing, and simply shoved the receipt towards me. He refused to offer any basic courtesy like "Thank you." 3. Clear Discrimination: Most shockingly, I witnessed this same employee immediately serve the next customers (who appeared to be Caucasian) with a 'nice' demeanor. This stark contrast proves his deliberate act of discrimination and malice was directed solely towards me. I felt publicly humiliated and genuinely insulted. Other Korean customer reviews frequently mention experiences of racial discrimination at this location, indicating this is a serious and ongoing pattern, not an isolated incident. I will file a formal and serious complaint with the Honolulu Coffee corporate headquarters regarding this staff member's unacceptable conduct. And also I will demand an immediate and transparent investigation into this employee’s conduct. I expect swift and appropriate disciplinary action and mandatory sensitivity training to ensure no other customer is subjected to this type of intentional mistreatment and humiliation. Employees working in a high-traffic hotel location like this must be properly educated and trained by corporate on professional conduct. If this employee does not want to work, he should simply go home."
