What People Are Saying
from Google"They sell bigger bags of coffee here! Both ground and roasted beans (which is harder to find in the grocery stores). They offer more flavors too and they even have it in Keurig pods. Worth the drive! A little over 15 minutes from Waikiki Beach. They have a mini museum about Lion coffee. They also serve coffees by the cup and pastries. They have quite a few tables and chairs so you can enjoy your coffee for dine-in. The coffee was okay though nothing special."
"Only the best coffee in Hawaii! Lion Cafe has a cool, laid-back vibe as soon as you walk in, with a friendly and welcoming staff. The coffee is brewed to perfection, and I also ordered a slice of banana bread that was delicious. They also sell large bags of their coffee if you want to take some home. I truly have no complaints—absolutely recommend stopping by. Enjoy!"
"AMAZINGLY overpriced - and - poor service - and a salmon lox bagel is a build your own apparently (the salmon was questionable as well) - the laziness, cutting of corners + $1.50 for oat milk = this place is rigged for minimum service, effort at maximum prices. I can't believe I waisted a $43 Uber to come visit this place. AND - There's a TIP option to select at checkout. For what? Lastly, the bathrooms are terrible."
"Historic cafe and brand that the logo speaks for itself. I wanted to check it out since it is a legendary coffee roaster. The place is very nice and full of souvenirs and coffee beans, with small museum to go with it. I'd say though that the coffee is very old school as well, I think some younger coffee drinkers might find it a bit too strong. I liked it because I do enjoy many different types of coffee, but I could see why they were selling a lot of coffee based frappuchinos and drinks. All in all, it's not the best coffee in Hawaii, in my opinion. But for the historical purposes, it wouldn't be bad to pay a visit. Not a must though."
"Good coffee but the baristas are very unfriendly. A shame, because I like the company. Also, the Hawaiian music is top notch"
