"They have the BEST ice cream on the island and probably one of the best vegan ice creams in the world. Vegan or not, everyone loves their ice cream. The texture is perfect. It’s made from macadamia nuts and cashews so it’s perfectly creamy. Their tacos are also fantastic. We’ve been here many times and with non vegan friends. Their food is tasty for everyone. The staff are super friendly and it’s a local business."

"I am not vegan and didn't know that the cafe was a vegan cafe until i got there. But gosh did the food blow my mind! It was so good, and i would totally come back here to try the other dishes. The vibes are 100% amazing. I got to try a little bit of their vegan soft serve and it was phenomenal as well. My pesto and gravy meal was filling and great. I also got a drink cup with my meal and tried their delicious creamy chai. Overall, i would definitely recommend this place."

"Of all the places we've been to on the Big Island, Journey Cafe is by far the most innovative when it comes to vegetarian and vegan cuisine. We had the acai bowl and the savory crepe. Both were delectable. The savory crepe is easily the best I have ever had. They even made a vegan runny egg - so yum and inventive. Planning to come back here every day during our stay in Kona. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They even let us sample their dairy free soft-serves - they were amazing."
