"Sadly I am not the most discerning of coffee drinkers, and almost all coffee tastes the same to me. However, I happened to stop in at Ka'u while I was waiting on a table at the restaurant above it. For the first time in my life I can say there was a noticeable difference (in a wow this tastes amazing way) in what I was drinking. Someone with a more refined palate can probably describe all the flavor nuances and weigh on on whether or not it's the best coffee ever. I can definitely say it's the best coffee I can remember having though. Other than that: location was clean, the staff was great, the service was fast, and the line wasn't too long. So definitely worth a visit if you are in the area....even if you aren't just waiting for a table upstairs."

He has incredible knowledge of the beans from the farm, through the processing, the roasting, and the extraction. Staff is really nice and their açaí bowls have generous portions. Definitely check it out if you’re in Kona."

"We saw this place with a full 5 star review on Yelp, so no brainer! My daughter who’s a matcha snob loved their iced matcha latte. They put out tiny cups for you to sample their coffee, so no guess work and no hit-miss and regret on your coffee pick! I like their Dark Roast. My mom got the flat white, and it’s the richest most coffee tasted flat white she’s had. They also put out samples of different macadamia nuts. Try before you buy! Both the inside and outside sittings are nice."

"100% The best coffee I had EVER had!! The people are super friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. I honestly didn’t even know what ube was, but it is GREAT. I definitely recommend the iced ube latte (my picky husband also recommends this lol), blueberry muffin, & turkey pesto sandwich."
