"We purchased the blue ones and they were terrible. Described as "layers of milk and white chocolate" but were blue throughout. Blue dye was not listed as an ingredient. Tasted like play-dough. Crunchy ones were better but not great. I confused this place with the shop near Kealakekua. Thought they were the same since names are similar, but they are not affiliated with each other. The "chocolate" at this one is low quality. Save your money and drive up the hill."

"If less than 1 star would be possible…. Worst whole bean coffee I have ever purchased. Medium to dark was anything but, completely tasteless when brewed. No matter how much was used, or the fineness of the grind just mildly brown water was produced. Zero scent of coffee and taste. Horrid. Save your money!!"

"Have tried to go to donkeyballs at least a dozen times. Always closed every time. Does not matter location or time. Battled how many stars to give them. In the end driving to kona to try the world famous donkeyballs has been a lame experience."

"Do not buy. Worse than other locations and not affiliated with them. The Blue Balls from this location are disgusting. They taste very similar to Play-Doh. There are no layers of milk and white chocolate and it is just soft blue dough down to the nut center. When asking the worker about it, he immediately became agitated and he refused to try one to see if it was a bad batch. Says he doesn't like them either. Do not put these balls in your mouth."
