Smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Pro tip - add white chocolate pumps to your matcha, you won’t be disappointed. The staff is overflowing with aloha vibes and genuine kindness, which made every visit feel like a warm welcome. We also loved the unique wood-carved octopus tables, they add such a fun and creative local touch to the space. A must-visit if you’re in the area!"

"Stoked to have this new coffee spot in the neighborhood! All of the staff is super friendly (we love Liz)! My go-to fave drink is the matcha latte with 2 pumps of white chocolate and a bagel turkey sandwich. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking in free lot!"

"I went in today and the service and atmosphere was AMAZING!!!! The girls, Ava Hailey and Isabelle, working today were so sweet and helpful! We are staying at the Marriott down the road and when we asked for any recommendations for places to visit on island the barista were so kind and eager to help. Also the coffee is SOOO good, definitely the best on island, I got the Surfs Up Cold Brew and the Kraken soda (I truly recommend that)! If you’re looking for the BEST coffee coffee on island with the best customer service and cutest cafe come to the kraken coffee cafe in Wailea!!!"

"This was such a cute local coffee joint. Very curious cool atmosphere and so much better than a big chain. We sat inside while waiting for my son’s diving lesson to be over and got to watch all the helpful friendly staff and the drinks were good tasting and not overpriced."

"I had one of the worst coffee experiences I’ve ever had at Kraken Coffee today. I ordered two drinks: the Surf Up and the Kihei Kicker. Kihei Kicker was requested with no ice. Despite this, it was still served with ice. When I pointed this out, the staff member took the cup back without any acknowledgment or apology. A few minutes later, I was given a replacement Kihei Kicker, but this time it was less than half full, which already felt unreasonable. When we asked why the cup was filled so little, we were told that this is “exactly how they operate” and that ordering no ice means receiving significantly less drink. To better understand their process, we asked her to make the drink as if ice were included. She proceeded to add three full scoops of ice before the cup appeared full, clearly showing how little liquid was actually provided in the no-ice version. This is not standard practice, and the lack of explanation, apology, or basic customer care made the experience even worse. We visited based on positive social media reviews, but the customer service, coffee quality, and overall experience were extremely disappointing. If this continues to be how Kraken Coffee operates, I’m sure many customers will choose not to return."
