"We absolutely LOVE this place! HiCO is truly the spirit of Aloha. The coffee, the food, and the people make this such a special place to stop every time we are on the island. All of the staff is wonderful, kind, and always makes a great recommendation when we are looking for something new to try. There is plenty of seating inside and out, very casual atmosphere, kid friendly, and never too long of a wait. Tia who manages the Waikoloa Village location is the epitome of hospitality and customer service! This has become our go-to coffee spot for the last 3 years because of her all of her staff at HiCO."

"Hico Hawaiian Coffee is a total gem. Easily some of the best açaí we’ve ever had — the ube-based coffee and açaí bowls are an absolute must. The whole place has a cool, laid-back vibe with outdoor seating, great music, and an overall atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Incredible drinks, delicious food, and a spot you’ll definitely want to come back to."

"Decided to stop here for breakfast on our way back from watching the sunrise. Quaint little coffee shop with good selection of breakfast items. Coffee, sandwiches and lox and avocado toast were all delicious. Service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Tables set up outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. We will be back!"

"So bummed! I was very excited to try the Froshaka frozen espresso beverage, but they were all out of it at 8 am? Well, no worries! The kind coffee bartender pointed out the holiday specialty menu, and I was soon leaving with a Peppermint Mocha Oreo Iced Latte in hand! It was SPECTACULAR! (Although, I wish the espresso flavor had been slightly bolder.) Service was fast and friendly. The outdoor patio is very pretty and comfortable. I enjoyed the shade and cool breeze!"

"Our friends live here and took us to Hico on our visit. Asolutely delicious food and coffee! The service is always amazing and friendly and they are so nice with visitors. There are wild chickens about but they're pretty relaxed. We came here every day for a week during our visit and I will say, the only time the coffee wasn't outstanding, was Sunday when there was a different barista on shift. That being said, we will be revisiting when we come back! L O V E"
