"Charming and delicious! The scent alone when you walk in is enough to make you crave a bon bon. We picked a wide variety of truffles and chocolates and have been working through them over the past week and I can say, without reservation, that these are the best chocolate treats I have ever had in the US! the little crème filled mice and long shaped ones with the whole hazelnuts were my favorites! The staff are also incredibly nice and helpful! AND the shop itself is a feast for the eye - all of the warm cozy touches, rugs, table linen, lamps, even the stenciled ceiling make the shop feel warm and inviting! I can’t wait to go back for more!!! Maybe try an espresso drink, and their gelato next! And restock my chocolate jar!!!!"

Perfect place to slow down with a well-made coffee and pick out chocolates or gelato. European-style chocolates with a tradition dating back to 1913, made in the U.S. by the Stam family. Large case of bonbons, truffles, and fine caramels. House-made gelato and a full coffee/espresso bar; they also make hot chocolate. Extras: Iowa wines (e.g., Santa Maria Winery) and a few gourmet gift items. Very friendly, patient service. Excellent latte (great microfoam and latte art). Gelato is spot-on. Wi-Fi available in the dining area. Pro tip: If you buy 6 or more pieces, pricing switches from per-piece to by weight—a better deal for gift assortments or sharing. Bottom line: A one-of-a-kind chocolaterie/café—not a chain—with high-quality products, a quiet space to chat, and plenty of Old-World charm."

"SO SO GOOD! I go here more times than I would like to admit. I can't have dairy, so it is very exciting to have their dark chocolate sorbet. The sorbets are water or juice based, yet it tastes just like ice cream. It has a tougher texture like Culver's ice cream. I love it! They have amazing seating, and the workers are always so kind! The lighting is perfect for people with autism and/or migraines since it is dimmer and yellow lighting. 5 STARS!"
