"Stopped in for lunch on the way to Minneapolis. Asked what was popular and the guy behind the counter told us (turkey) but said it wasn’t the best. Asked what’s the best- the Downtown Deli special. Asked what’s on that- whatever he decides at the time! So we went for it (some spicy meats and all the fixings) and it was great! Also tried the chili and the Wisconsin cheese soup - both very good. The place got really busy while we were there. Low prices and great food! Would definitely go out of my way to lunch here if ever in the area again. Plenty of free parking behind the shop."

"Great Place! Fast friendly service, food is excellent. I had the corned beef on rye, with everything. I like how they let you customize your sandwhich with what you want, unlike some chain deli's. They will even warm it up for you! They offer chips, fountain drinks, and some desserts if you'd like. No wifi, bike racks, or delivery, though they do cater!"
