"WDM location: When the drinks are made correctly they are amazing! They are not consistent with how they are madee. One day they taste one way next they taste a different way. When made correctly they are amazing. Recently they have been going downhill to point I have had to toss most of my drink as they are gross. Staff used to be beyond amazing, up beat, always asked if I wanted to save or use my points, now its like talking to my 17 yr old at home. Some of the outfits, mainly short shorts, to point can see everything as they hand out drinks have also been a big turn off."

"First Things First: I don’t think I’ve ever had a drive-through experience as exceptional as my visit to the Ankeny Hyper Energy Bar! This was my first time visiting a Hyper Energy Bar location, and the red-haired gentleman who served me (I regret not catching his name) was incredibly kind, accommodating, and simply a wonderful human being. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. Not only was my initial visit one of the best I’ve ever had, but it got even better when I realized I had mistakenly ordered one of my drinks without requesting it sugar-free. Feeling a bit embarrassed, I pulled back through, fully expecting to just reorder and accept the mix-up. But when I explained my mistake, he didn’t hesitate, without a second thought, he reassured me that it was no trouble at all and kindly offered to swap my drink for a sugar-free version. That’s exactly what he did, with the same warmth and generosity that made my visit so memorable. Thank you, truly, to this bright and kind-hearted gentleman! Your kindness and dedication to great service didn’t just make my experience exceptional, you turned me into a loyal customer. "Disappointed with how downhill this store has gone since they opened. Drinks are usually good but the girls at the windows aren’t. Very rude, doing absolute bare minimum IF they ask for your rewards number. If this was 1-2 times I wouldn’t comment but this is at MINIMUM the fifth time this has happened. I work in customer service so I’m not blind to people having bad days but WOW. If it’s not a personal vendetta then the blonde girl with inch-and-a-half grown out roots must HATE her job. She never smiles. If she says hi to you you’re lucky, and she acts like customers are the biggest annoyance of her day. I don’t come to hyper multiple times a week to have my day dampened by someone that doesn’t even want to work there. The girls they used to rotate at the windows used to always be so sweet and kind. This is not the same store anymore."
