"I’ve been going to sidecar for 7+ years every week since I started college. I order an iced americano with extra cream. This particular barista on Easter Sunday at the first street location was very off putting. I can tell by the color if my drink is going to be off (first world problems) and it was just on appearance. I kindly asked him if he could add more cream and he said that’s all he could do unless I wanted to pay extra. I said it’s never been an issue before, and that I’d paid extra if needed. He said “I’ll add more just this one time” … I thought to myself what’s the big deal here? Inside the shop, cream is set out for those to use for drip coffee and americanos, with no extra charge. If you want to charge more due to inflation, add that to the board please. To say the least after being a consistent customer for years, this place is too inconsistent for me and their product is too inconsistent I’ve decided I might as well make my coffee at home and I’m done supporting a place that treats their customers poorly."

"I got the Chi tea (iced) the first sip was great but the rest was grainy and all the powder sunk to the bottom and every time I took a drink it felt like I stuck my straw into the Sahara Desert and drank up the sand when I got home I tried to mix it up more and also tried adding milk nothing helped.... "3 months is how long since I have gone to Sidecar and we won't be going back. After going 3-4 times per week at $6-$10 a trip for 3 years, Sidecar lost our business forever due to the potentially forgivable action by the cashier to steal money for a tip when expressly declined, but really due to the owner, Andy, telling me he trusted his cashier's version of events more than mine. Oddly...and unsolicited, he emailed me a month later to say he came across an incident of theft via unwanted tip again. So, if paying at drive up, doublecheck your receipt."
