"Very lively ambiance with great decor. The outdoor seating is very nice. I highly recommend the Pork Tonkatsu - I rarely reorder the same food, but this was done perfectly. Service could be a bit quicker, but it isn't that slow considering how busy the place is."

"Food was good, but the wings were not "great" (though I think it was more or less that I expected the "hot" wings to be "hotter" and I expected the blue cheese dressing/dip to be chunkier). Everyone else enjoyed their food as purchased, and I will certainly eat here again when we are visiting our daughter and her husband that live near the area. However, next time I plan to get the Rueben sandwich that they offer and which the waitress said her husband greatly enjoys every time when he comes there to eat."

"The first time we were here, right after it opened, the food was top notch. Tonight is was just okay. Everything needed salt to start with. We got salt and it helped, a little. Two of the dishes had pork shoulder and it was very bland. The burger could have used some seasoning as well. The mac and cheese barely had flavor, didn't even taste much like cheese. The server was on top of it. It wasn't too busy, but he was great. I also like how the servers all help each other. We don't feel like we need to run back here real soon after the meal we had tonight. Everything looked great, but was just meh in flavor. Except for the Mediterranean salad, that didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is great, a really fun place. Hopefully the cook who doesn't know what salt is learns about it real soon."

"New Year's Day. They were open -thank God. I was in Cedar Rapids on business for the second time, but the holiday proved to be a bit of a challenge. The vegetable curry was absolutely delicious, but there was a new drink at the bar: a honey-roasted old fashioned. I loved it; it was a little sweet but it had a surprising secret ingredient that greatly amused me. You'll have to ask Curtis to find out what it is. The place is huge, the food is good, the staff is friendly, and if you're ever in Cedar Rapids you must check out this place. Highly recommended."

"$18 plus tip doesn't get me a lid or a spoon for my soup? Not impressed. Food tasted ok, but that's about the only compliment I can give. Not very substantial for the price."
