from Google & Yelp"I would hope that the Sorting Hat would seat me in House Coffee. Emily and I decided to hit up the Quad Cities as our last hurrah of the year. I made my usual list and she picked the places to go and this coffee house was one of our first stops. We nearly missed it as the parking lot can come up on your pretty fast due to the location but we made it without issue. Upon entering, we were greeted to a nice and pleasant coffeehouse filled with plants and cozy. We got in line and that’s when I noticed the Specials menu was Harry Potter themed. I stuck with my usual americano but Emily got the Three Broomsticks. The baristas were super nice and since there were a few people ahead of us, we took the time before our drinks came out to browse the area. In the side area where we sat for awhile is a bookshelf and board game section. I always love to see a coffeehouse lean into board games and books. I believe the books were also ‘leave one, take one’ so if you need something to read, this place has plenty to pick from. There is also a counter in this area but I didn’t really see the purpose for it as there were no menus or anything. Possibly for food but I wasn’t for sure. Emily and I chilled in this area for a bit before switching back to the main area. On our way over, Emily grabbed a shirt to take home with her. While we sat there, Emily was in love with the vibes, aesthetics, and plants of the place. But, how were the drinks? Delicious. My americano made up for the last few I had that were weak by being borderline too bitter. I wasn’t upset about that at all. I will say that the ice was super compact and filled to the top so the 24oz felt like maybe half that with how quickly it disappeared. I ended up taking the water they had out and topping it off a few times before we left. And how was the Three Broomsticks? Emily said it was incredible with a smile on her face. I took a small sip and I would have to agree. If I had her foam on my americano, it would’ve been a match in heaven. Coffee House Cafe and Goods was a wonderful stop. I really liked the Harry Potter-themed drinks, I really liked the vibes and friendliness of the place. I just wish getting into the parking lot didn’t feel like pulling a move out of a Fast and the Furious movie."
"Atmosphere was amazing. My wife got a coffee flight and enjoyed 3 out of the 4 coffee, more for two people she said. I got the energy drink flight and enjoyed it as well. We got the blueberry lemon dessert bar and it was a little pricey but the flavor was absolutely fantastic"
"Really cute place plus the outside door seating is pretty. My cold brew flight tasted really nice, I like all flavors. And they are really friendly to my dog, gave her a puppy cup."
"I was visiting Davenport and found this coffee shop. This place is so great! They have an outdoor seating area, indoor seating, and another room with seating and board games to hang out. Love the decor and vibe of this place! I have also never been to a coffee shop that offers flights of coffee to sample. I tried their fall cold brew flights and all of them were amazing! Whoever comes up with their flavor combinations does a great job! The prices for their drinks seemed comparable to other coffee shops. I wish I lived in the Davenport area, I’d come here all the time."
"Is this heaven? No it’s (the cutest coffee shop in) IOWA! Seriously! They have a gorgeous outside patio with lots of seating and lots of colorful bright flowers. Inside there’s a wide arrangement of seating options which makes it a perfect spot for a large group, or just to go and relax to work there. Not too noisy. Free WiFi. About 3 open spaces rooms to choose to sit in. Each very nicely decorated and clean and comfy. Also, they offer a library with a plethora of options. Come here for trivia as well. Staff is nice and gives good recommendations. Their coffee is fair priced for all the accommodations they have. The ice is the nice ice like sonic or chick fil a has where it’s tiny pebbles. Coffee is sweet but not over the top. Their baked goods are phenomenal as well. I’d recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. Their shop has random gifts and local crafts and items for sale as well. Perfect for all ages and all people whether you want to work from home, relax, take a call, or just enjoy the flowers."
