from Google & Yelp"Donuts were good but this iced coffee was $7? I take forever to finish a coffee and this was gone in like 4 sips. The taste was also chemically sweet/bitter and not in a bitter coffee way. Also why is it normal to ask for a tip before providing service?? I tipped and my drink wasn't even made right because it was supposed to be dairy free and it wasn't."
"All around nice place. Cake donuts are worth stopping in to try especially if you’re from out of town. My favorite was the chocolate cake donut and my husband’s was the blueberry cake donut."
"I have NO idea how this place is so highly rated... While the customer service was fantastic - patient, friendly, thorough, half of my order of donuts are old and stale. I ordered a dozen via drive through. The cinnamon sugar cake donut is standard and good, I'll give them that. I'm sensing their speciality is cake donuts. It does leave a slight oily taste in my mouth however, but some people probably don't mind that. But here's the thing. Don't give people stale, old donuts. I got the chocolate glazed, NON-filled Long-john. First off it's flat? It's dry on the inner layer and like, oil soaked on the outer layer of the donut itself. The icing is so sad. Breaks my heart lol. Thinly coated where you can see through it, drying out and cracking. (I added a video.) But then I got the maple Long-john. You can obviously tell this is fresh and properly glazed. It's beautiful and fluffy! A nice thick layer of maple icing, fresh and creamy. I got a cold brew and that's solid too. Why would you tarnish your name and be okay with giving out half bad product?? And to be transparent - I almost didn't leave this review because I got these for my office and everyone is raving and so happy... Maybe I'm the only one with high standards LOL. Maybe I would try a breakfast sandwich just to give them a well rounded chance but dang.... to say I'm disappointed is an understatement, because I LOVE donuts."
"I was craving something sweet after a 10-hour overnight shift. Luckily, they were open when I drove by at 6:30. I got some doughnuts and a toasted marshmallow and lavender latté. I've only eaten one doughnut and had my drink, but everything has been scrumptious so far! I highly recommend the cream horn! The cream is fluffy, whipped, and not too sweet! The shell had great texture! Exactly how I like it! The staff was very nice and cheery even though it was early! I always appreciate that. The lobby is currently closed due to short-staffing."
"this is our go-to donut shop in the quad cities, they own the cake donut market (and their other types of donuts/rolls are good enough), we have never gotten a bad batch here, the hazelnut coffee is just right and I've had a breakfast sandwich once, on ciabatta and also executed as well as the rest of their items. Great service, quick and organized, this is the best place for Sunday morning donuts for the family!"
