"I got an Americano, which was delicious. You can always tell the quality of the coffee shop by how good their espresso is. I also had the maple (something) scone, which was also delicious. It is a cozy place with a colectic decor. The barista was very personable and welcoming."

"Fun little coffee shop, fantastic coffee, interesting owner sells honey from his own bees, beeswax candles ect. Interesting fella, very enjoyable to chat with. I had the Maple cream, hubby had toasted hazelnut, mocha. Both very good. We lingered and chatted with the locals who suggested the shop next door, Purveyor, for wonderful sandwiches and food. We shopped at Raygun which is attached? Fun items, mugs, t shirts, lots of politically incorrect, funny things. Great little area downtown Des Moines."

"Cute Bee-Centric coffee shop! Always have 3-5 rotating speciality drinks, most often lattes. Living within walking distance of here has been so rewarding! Consistent barista(s) is friendly and efficient. Street parking available, not a ton of room for a large group but is near a lot of walkable area in the east village! If you’re in the area and want coffee, this is the spot!"
