from Google"I tried this place about a year ago when my dad was at the hospital across the street it was 10/10 the tastiest food and nicest staff! However i was very disappointed today when i tried to order. I called to place an order and the lady was so rude and not listening to me. She raised her vocie and was snotty and snippy when i tried my hardest to talk slowly and clearly. Unfortunately she continued to repeat back the wrong order (which was a super simple order just a steak burrito with rice, beans, sour cream, and cheese, veggies on the side). She she handed off the phone to a different gentlemen who also couldnt understand what i wanted and raised his voice at me and was very rude. So disappointed. I feel heartbroken to any seniors who try to call, and instead are treated with disrespect and impatience. Feel free to review the phone recording if you wish. I would just not rather order here ever again sadly! I will give 2 stars because I forgot to give a review a year ago when they were actually good."
"Terrible food quality. I ordered the chile rellenos with shredded beef, NO BEEF AT ALL, no cheese either. They were the size of a jalapeño pepper. Very small. The 2 flour steak street tacos , steak was good, butter tortillas were tough and chewy. Very bad quality of food. It looked like slop. I ate the taco meat and threw the rest of the meal in the garbage where it belongs. 💩"
"After a long day, we were in the mood for a nice meal and stumbled upon Lina's Mexican, which wasn't far from where we were. We wanted to dine in, so we called ahead, but couldn’t get through. Thankfully, the hours listed online seemed clear enough, so we headed there. However, when we arrived, the doors were locked, forcing us to switch to the drive-through for takeout. When placing our order, the young lady taking it seemed to have trouble understanding some of our questions. So, I kept it simple and ordered the burrito combo. The combo included rice and beans, and the extra burrito I received was a basic beef burrito. Unfortunately, it lacked much substance—just lettuce, cheese, and ground beef—and the flavors were really disappointing. The burrito was bland, missing key ingredients like sour cream and salsa that could've elevated it. The meat itself was also unseasoned, which left it tasting flat. I also ordered a lemonade, but was disappointed to discover it was just Minute Maid, not the traditional homemade lemonade you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. All in all, the food was mediocre at best. The rice was tasteless, and the beans were just as bland. On the positive side, the portion sizes were generous. If Lina's could improve their seasoning and better manage their dine-in hours, I believe it could make a huge difference for the restaurant. I would recommend it only if you’re downtown and need something quick and affordable. But if you’re searching for bold, flavorful Mexican cuisine, this wouldn’t be the place to go, despite the great portion sizes for the price."
"When they get the order right the food is great, unfortunately, they seem to never get the order right! And then when you aim to speak to them about it, they hang up in your face… If you want a late night Mexican, you might as well go to Abalardos. Which isn’t the best… But at least you’re gonna get exactly what you ordered with decent customer service"
"The closest I’ve found to So-Cal Style Mexican Food - The Shredded Beef Crunchy Tacos are Legit - The Carne Asada Burritos are bomb - be sure to order a glass, bottled Coke or a large Horchata!"
