"Best bar for a girls’ night in Des Moines. The Republic on Grand has an amazing vibe, great music, and delicious drinks & food. The Traveler was our fav! Staff was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was so fun we didn’t want to leave. Definitely coming back!"

The ahi was OK, not the best or worst I've had and the salmon was again OK but the risotto was TOO al dente, needed more broth and stirring time to absorb the broth and it was too salty. There is a nice view of the city and service was again OK but not worth the price of almost $100 for 1 person with 1 appetizer, 2 glasses of wine, and 1 entree. This is the most mediocre review Ive written by the way and I do travel a lot. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good either. So if you want to pay $100 per person for a mediocre meal, go for it."

"Roof top bar with great views, nice unique cocktails, food looked good (though I did not eat), lots of tables and a few big couches with open space both outdoor and indoor. Highly recommended for a nice dinner, maybe a date or a gathering."
