"If U know what's good 4 U, U will stay far & wide away from this place. Their help is impolite, rude, condescending, snooty, self-absorbed, immature & they will LIE right 2 your face, while looking U straight in the eye, without even batting said eye. Way back at the beginning of September, I made SEVERAL phone calls there in regards 2 my son's 23 birthday. He was wanting a German chocolate cake 4 his birthday. Which very much surprised me as he's always been very vocal about not liking or wanting a cake 4 his birthday. It was always a cheesecake, cookie cake, fruit pizza or a pie. Other than his first birthday where we had a client cake, it's been anything other than a cake. Plus, he's totally & completely NOT a chocolate lover AT ALL. But, we had recently gone 2 a German restaurant & they gave us each a piece of German Chocolate cake 4 our 30th anniversary. So I called the bakery & talked to 3 different people & made 5 phone calls regarding this cake getting made. Each & every time I was told that I needed 2 talk 2 the baker. And each & every time I was told that they either were busy baking, were talking to someone at the monent or that they had already left 4 the day. Each time I was promised that they would either call back when they had a free moment or would call me the next day. But, yes, they could most definitely do that cake 4 me. They just needed 2 know the size we wanted & then I needed 2 know the price so I could get it all paid in full bc his BD was 10 days away. Yeah, NEVER EVER heard back from them at all. Not even 2 tell me that they couldn't/wouldn't be able to fulfill my order! So that left me scrambling at the last minute after being lied to & led around like an imbecile for 2.5 weeks. After it was all said & done, I FINALLY hear back from them...AFTER I left a review here though! Their baker at the time, Jon, profusely apologized for the mix up & hassle I went thru. Explained dome things 2 me. And then asked if I would please consider tKing my review down since I now understand the circumstances of everything. I'm not an unreasonable person, so I said that I would take my review down. After I took it down, he thanked me and PROMISED me a special order cake or dessert whenever I needed/wanted it. So I called up 4 a Christmas dessert early last week. No one knew what I was referring 2 as no one knew anything about his promise at all, much less what lead up 2 that promise from him in the first place. So yeah, this place is unhinged and has little 2 no morals or scruples. Apparently a good will promise means zero 2 them now. Their despicable practices and out right lying was it 4 me. I just picked up an order today that totaled $267 from a different bakery. Their products look & taste oh so much better 4 pretty much the same $$$. And their promise & word hold meaning & value. They say what they mean & mean what they say. U don't have 2 worry, wonder or sweat bullets waiting 4 a phone call that will never come. I would think that the staff, as well as the owners of this bakery could do SO MUCH BETTER!"
