"A family favorite. Used to dine at a village inn with my grandparents so I enjoy bringing my kids. My kids always love the Smiley face breakfast. I love the eggs Benedict for breakfast and the sandwich, soup and pie for lunch. The workers are nice and friendly. The inside looks like it just got an upgrade."

"Only positive thing I can say is the fries are pretty good. My roast beef was more fat than meat. Pickles were barely more than cucumber slices. At least the service was fine."

"We had Margaret K for our server. It’s only her second week. She was fantastic! I always order my bacon crispy. She was the first server to ask me if it was crispy enough! I so appreciated that!!!!"

"Horrible from the service to the staff it was an atrocity. I only stayed because my son has an unnatural obsession with your hamburgers. However, he even asked me why everyone here was so rude and wouldn't smile. I don't care if you are by yourself or if you had the worst day ever, that sounds selfish but I have been a server for years and manager for the past 5 years. The problems you had end when you walk through the door to start working. Our server was mediocre at best but the supervisor was the real problem. He had no direction, no courtesy, he didn't care. He wasn't engaging, he wasn't trying to keep the people who walked through the door. Couldn't give an accurate wait time. His response was I'm not sure you'll have to see. He greeted only regulars with a smile and chat. It was the worst time I've ever had in a long time. It will take a lot for me to come back to this village inn such a waste because the food was great. They didn't have fries or ranch or root beer. If felt like we were bothering the server and every time we asked about something they were out. If you aren't built for restaurants then please remove yourself because I used to love coming here. If I could leave zero stars I would."

"Came for dinner tonight, the server Alissa was nothing but sweet, had a big smile on her face the whole time she was serving us! The Supervisor Adin was walking around joking with people and checking in on us. Always great to see management that cares! We will definitely be back!"
