"Daydrink is a cozy local gem in Iowa City. Their coffee is excellent, I ordered an oat milk latte, and it was smooth, balanced, and full of flavor. I also tried their coffee cake, which is clearly popular because it sells out fast! Seating is limited since the space is small, but that actually adds to its charm. We even ended up standing at the bar, which turned out to be a fun experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the visit even better. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area."

"Traveling through Iowa City from out of state and saw Day Drink was highly recommended so we stopped by. Who could’ve guessed that I would have the best coffee drink of my life. I can’t recall the name but the latte has fresh orange zest and it was sublime. The drinks served in glass jars was such a nice touch and the two baristas were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!"

The Plain Jan was simple but so good — fresh, balanced, and exactly what you want from a great coffee spot. The vibe inside is chill, the service is fast and friendly, and everything just feels elevated without being pretentious."
