"It's my go-to whenever I want to treat myself. Everything from their savory items to sweet treats is consistently delicious. I usually grab their ready-made cakes for any special occasion, but this year I ordered a custom one and it turned out perfect—exactly what I asked for and so tasty! The only downsides are that the parking lot is pretty small, so you often have to park on the street during busy times, and occasionally there can be some flies around the uncovered pastries, Still, totally worth it for the quality and service!"

"Best bakery/patisserie this side of Paris. Amazing croissants, pastries and coffee. The Nutella croissant was amazing. Not the oozy gooey kind but rich dark chocolate and super flaky croissant. All of the pastries were excellent. It was well worth the drive and have made more trips back. Excellent coffee too. Glad to have a real patisserie closer than Chicago."

"We are so glad we chose Deluxe for our wedding! 🩷 They created the sweetest one-tier cake for our cake cutting—strawberry vanilla with confetti—and it was great!! For our guests, we offered a variety of sheet cakes, and Deluxe went above and beyond with six amazing flavors (because how could you possibly choose just one!): marble, carrot, lemon raspberry, German chocolate, strawberry vanilla confetti, and red velvet. Every single one was a hit—we kept hearing rave reviews from our friends and family for weeks after the wedding!!!"

"We first tried their cakes a while ago, and since then we only buy our birthday cakes from here. They’re always fresh and really good. On Christmas, they make "buche de Noel", which is hard to find anywhere in Iowa, and it’s honestly amazing, not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. Jamie Powers, the owner, is great and clearly cares about what she does. Highly recommend."
