"Nice Mall in downtown Iowa City. Honestly the only reason we go, is to go to the classic toy store. Really not much else in the mall will trip my fancy. My only complaint would be the price of parking in the area. Otherwise it is a great walk around the old part of town especially when the weather is nice."

"Busy location. Less traffic in the back (West side). North side has the city bus exchange, south side has paid parking ramp and the front (East side) has separate doors in addition to the mall, to enter from after mall has closed, but the restaurants are still serving. Paid street parking is also available on the front side (East side) of the mall."

"Saw these guys at the Iowa City Mall and I was $3 short for a card I really needed in my MTG Edgar Markov deck and after a little "Bartering" they made it work for me. This was the cherry on top after spending a long and needless to say "expensive day" at the mall with my Family. Thankyou guys very much, your kindness goes a long way!"

"Lots of fun and unique locally owned specialty shops and restaurants! A great place to stop for lunch. The attached parking garage offers the first hour of parking for free! Inside you will find a CVS Pharmacy, candy store, a vintage toy shop, a coffeeshop, a university clothing store, a handcrafted jewelry store, an art supply store, manicure place, a tanning place, and more! Tons of restaurants including a Chipotle, Noodles and Company, Freddie's and a Buffalo Wild Wings just to name a few! Upstairs is University of Iowa operated so it is a unique mixed use building. The Old Capitol Town Center is also known as the University Capitol Center and the Old Capitol Mall. A unique space where Iowa City and University of Iowa come together!"
