"I actually hosted a fundraiser here yesterday and was blown away by the experience! Tremendous thank you to Omar and the whole team. From the front of the house to the back of the house, we were warmly welcomed and enthusiastically supported during our event. It was so fun to get to set up a display, engage with curious customers, and give away some goodies. This was also my first trip to a Village Inn that has gone through the rebranding. The space was clean and comfortable. What really surprised me was how much the food exceeded my expectations! We were there for 9 hours and consumed several items - one of the quick breakfasts, two different skillets, strawberry banana supreme French toast, pancakes, a couple different soups, several other sides, and a specialty coffee drink - all of which were extremely enjoyable. Even the side simply listed as "corn" impressed. I honestly expected some basic canned corn... but I was wrong. It was fire-roasted with red peppers! This is not the Village Inn you used to know. If you haven't been in awhile, it's time to give it another chance. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food! We'll absolutely be back."

"My husband and I came for our first time last night and we had an amazing breakfast here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot and exactly how we ordered it. Everything tasted homemade and comforting, which is exactly what you want from a breakfast spot. On top of that, our server who can’t remember by name but had beautiful long braids was absolutely wonderful. She was so respectful, kind, and attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Her positive energy and great service truly elevated the whole experience. Between the delicious food and the outstanding service, this place is definitely worth coming back to."

"Great food. Rainier was our server, he was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu for the best prices. We went during the busiest hour and all the servers were moving to make everyone happy. "Had a great meal here. The French fries are the best I've had in awhile. Super crispy but not overdone or greasy and they were season just right . The club sandwich was equally as tasty and very filling. Come hungry leave with full belly. Service was great and the food came out quickly. Recommend if you happen to be in Iowa City."
