"We stopped in here after eating lunch nearby, and it did not disappoint. The person there offered us samples since we had no idea what was going on. All of the flavors were packed full of flavor! It was a situation where you grab your cup size and add the frozen yogurt or sherbet. Add the toppings and sauces. Then you weigh the amount and pay by weight. Everything was great, and we will be stopping here again! I will say, I would make sure that newcomers know about the small dividers that I saw in a different review. It wouldn’t have made a difference for mine, but it likely would have helped separate the flavors for some other family members! Regardless, it was still a wonderful place, and I definitely recommend going here for dessert!"

"Yotopia is an Iowa City staple! They have delicious flavors & toppings made with local dairy and do collaborations with other local businesses. There are so many options for toppings and they always have non-dairy flavors and a tart flavor (unflavored/unsweetened), so there is something for everyone. I also love that they are woman-owned, and do fundraisers for local community organizations. I first had Yotopia years ago as a student, and I missed it when I moved away! Now that I am back in town, I bring all my friends and family here when they visit. Even our dogs love coming here to grab a pup cup! We 🩵 Yotopia!"

"My daughter is a college student and has eaten here a couple times and likes it very much. We drove past one evening and stopped there. They have a large variety of froyo and toppings. However, the frozen yogurt was so soft it wouldn't hold it's shape. I had 2 flavors and my daughter as well. It was only 50* out and by the time we got to the car it was soft soft the two flavors were nearly combined. For the price we paid (per pound) -- was expensive and so for me it was wasted money. The yogurt was way too sweet, especially combined with the toppings. My coffee ice cream has so little coffee flavor I questioned if I got the right one (I did.) The salted caramel was OK. I did like the brownie bite toppings and crushed waffle cones. The whole shop was dimly lit. I realize it was dark outside but I had to up the brightness in the photos. The girls working the shop were nice and one asked me if I had a question about anything and also she helped a young buy try a sample before purchasing."
