Today, we encountered some difficulties while placing an online order, so I decided to visit the cafe with our list. The host was incredibly accommodating and took the time to label each person’s takeout box with their name, preventing any food from being mistakenly served to the wrong person once it arrived at the office. "Cozy Cafe is that rare place that leans into who they are, then delivers an authentic food experience. Old-school diner vibe, and they don't veer from their look. Located just off Highway 80, great stop if you're traveling through Des Moines and only 15 minutes from Ankeny's District! Booths, tables, and a counter. Ask about their Blue Plate Specials, as we loved ours! Our server (Abby) was great. Atmosphere and pricing were real good."
