"The garden veggie skillet was fantastic. My friend ordered a breakfast taco that came with a phenomenal creamy green salsa that I poured all over my skillet when she was done using it for her taco. The server was super nice. Great experience."

"Love the convenience of this cafe so close to my office where I can get fresh made goods without having to accept all of the extra junk ingredients. The owners and the employees are super friendly and professional. The number one reason I go there is to give local support ... and of course their yummy menu. My favorite is the chicken pesto quiche and thier chai tea latte's. Looks like they have a great following, but hope more will follow. I once gave a review with less praise and they made it right, and I have to admit I may have been a bit 'hangry"... that was my fault and really not theirs. But noticed the extra fruit...thank you kindly. At any rate, great place, clean food with awesome smiles from great people and that is what is most inviting! Cheers!"

"Had never been here before. Didn’t know the program, but seemed a little off today. There was a sign at the door saying to wait to be seated, yet I waited for probably 5min or more while several employees buzzed by, and no one offered help or even said they would be back to seat me. Someone clearing tables (not wait staff) finally asked if I had been helped, and I said no, so he told me to just find a spot and someone would be with me. Didn’t seem like it was part of his job, so kudos to him for noticing I wasn’t getting helped. My waitress didn’t show for a while. Once she did, it took quite a while for her return. She came by for other tables, but passed me up. I didn’t even get my drink until my meal was half way eaten, whereas I’m used to having a drink while looking at the menu. I ordered the bright side burger and chili. Both were pretty decent. Not out of this world, but worthy enough to try again some time. Fries were decent too. From my experience, food seemed good enough to try again sometime. Service certainly seemed lacking today, but I saw other servers buzzing around attentively, so I think it is possible that my issues happens to be with the particular server that I had. Therefore, since the food was decent, and it looked like other people were getting good service, I’m not going to dismiss the place from a lack of service experience this time, as I assume it was likely something that may not repeat if I try again. So I’ll give a good 4 stars at this point, and try again sometime to hope they hold the 4 star rating I gave them the benefit of the doubt on."

"Stopped in for a late weekday breakfast after hearing good things about Brightside Cafe. The place was completely empty, which made for fantastic service and quick food preparation. I had the Denver omelette, served with hash browns and it was pretty good. With that being said, it’s astonishing how a breakfast order for one person costs twenty dollars including tax and tip in 2024 - especially when the bulk of the order is eggs and potatoes, two cheap foods especially purchased in bulk."
