"The Idaho Potato Museum was surprisingly fun and way more interesting than I expected. There’s a lot of quirky, informative exhibits that make learning about the history of potatoes in Idaho genuinely enjoyable. It’s a great stop if you’re road tripping or want something unique and lighthearted to check out. Bonus points for the café you can actually eat a potato there, which makes the visit even better. Definitely worth stopping if you’re nearby and want something different."

"What a cute museum! Super well done, and very affordable t-shirts. The cafe didn’t have ice cream which we were bummed about, but they did sell local bags of chips. We learned a lot and had fun doing it. I would recommend."

"Informational and educational tour, from potato origination from South America to nowadays agricultural mass production. Everything potatoes: fries, potato chips, potato toys, and then potato restaurant. Baked potatoes require two hours ahead reservation. The front sign even had a camera stand set up for you to take solo or group photos. There are kids play zone, 3D cameras to view 360 potato fields. Easy parking, friendly staff, and clean interiors."

"Fun little stop. Informative. Very friendly staff. They give packages of instant potatoes free to out of state visitors. The cafe was decent and you have to get something made of potato here! Gift shop had lots of cute items."

"This was a fun and interesting stop. Museum was affordable at $7. Lots of interesting information. Great learning experience for children. Gift shop was small but had a lot of options. Cafe served lots of potato options. Had read that you needed to order a baked potato 2 hours ahead of time, but they had plenty available when we stopped."
