from Google"This a small places that offers delicious, unique, authentic Italian sandwiches and desserts. We read about it last week and tried it today for a late lunch and it was SO GOOD! Both my sandwich and my wife’s were truly exceptional- so flavorful (annd large) and filled with fresh wonderful ingredients. We also picked up a couple of cannolis and apple cake for later (the sandwiches are so large there was no room for dessert in the same meal. So this evening we shared the three treats with a couple of friends and they too were impressed."
"Caffe Sorrento is a must for anyone wanting a delicious sandwich with fresh Italian cuts of meats and cheeses, delicious cookies, cannolies and amazing freshly made focaccia. There is no seating and limited seating outside. Make sure to get there early before all of the good stuff is sold out. There's quite a few excellent sandwich choices and make sure to get a slice of fresh focaccia to go."
"Such a cute little place! No seating inside but there are several tables outside. The espresso is amazing. My favorite thing there is the focaccia sandwiches, particularly the Serafino and Dino. I haven't had anything like them anywhere else. Every pastry I've had was excellent. The cannoli is mildly sweet but my favorite pastry is the Maritozzo which is a brioche filled with cream. Everything I've gotten there has been excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful as well!"
"I love this place! From the moment you walk in, you can tell they care about quality fresh bread, perfectly seasoned meats, and bold flavors in every bite. Their Italian sandwiches are some of the best I’ve ever had great balance of meats, cheeses, and just the right amount of tangy dressing. The bread is always fresh and has the perfect chew. The staff here are friendly and welcoming, and service is quick even during busy lunch hours. Every visit feels like getting a great meal from a friend who knows exactly what you want. The shop has a cozy vibe with a great neighborhood feel. If you’re craving a classic Italian sandwich done right, this spot is a must-try. I can’t recommend it enough!"
"When visiting Boise, this is a must have. We enjoyed Tony Canolli when they were a food cart. Now we enjoy their brick n motor store. The food/pastry’s are wonderfully Italian. Sandwiches are made fresh. I believe the pastry’s are made daily. They do have a few tables outside to sit and eat."
