"What I love about Garden City is it's hidden gems. All these new businesses are opening up. And you have to get directions to these joints to find cause they aren't on a busy road. I would have never known about this shop if it wasn't for Google or Yelp. I had an hour before closing so I headed in real quick for a caffeinated beverage. Pulling up to the joint, it doesn't look like your basic coffee shop. It honestly looks like an office building. I love that they had Disciples in big bold letters on the door. It was a nice sign that I am in the right place. Walking in, this place is cool. Cool in mood, cool in atmosphere and cool in vibe. It's really quiet and chill. A great place to have an intimate coffee date or work. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. He grabbed my order and got my drink started. I ordered my usual drink today. A small iced americano with cream. They didn't have any sugar free syrup options which is a bummer. He did ask if I want monk fruit or stevia sweetner, I passed on both. He did offer raw honey so I took up on that offer! He finished my drink and I noticed there wasn't any cream. It was filled to the top so it was pretty watered down. He did pour some of the coffee out and added the cream. The raw honey was nice but it still wasn't sweet enough for me so I added a packet of blue sweetner. It's a drinkable cup of coffee but it does lack flavor cause it was so watered down. I had really high hopes for this joint. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations. It looked like they pushed out great coffee! The venue and the gentleman were on point today but my drink was a flop. While waiting for my drink, I noticed all the cool patches from different police departments. Supporting our police departments is so important to me! They protect and serve us so they have my highest respect. I appreciate the different badges on display. I feel bad that I didn't really like my drink. I do want to come back and try again! I don't know if our addition of raw honey threw of dude while he was making my drink. This place is too cool not to come back. If I'm down Chinden again and I'm in need of a caffeinated beverage, I'll be stopping in here again."

"Always love stopping by Disciples coffee when I’m in town visiting. This place has a great atmosphere and even better coffee. My go to drink has been the butter latte but I recently tried Mexican Mocha and have to say, it might take the lead. Give one of those a try if you stop by and don’t forget to grab some freshly roasted beans to try at home!"

"If you’re looking for a laid-back coffee shop with amazing owners and top-quality beans, you have to check out Disciples. I usually take my espresso short and smooth, but Chris convinced me to try their famous Butter Latte — and he was right. It’s my new favorite. Exceptional drinks, genuinely friendly people, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend"

"Everything you could want in a coffee shop right here. I’ve become a lot of conscious about the food I eat, and this place gets it. Grass fed butter, grass fed collagen powder, organic milk…I am so impressed and have been wanting to find a place like this. Too bad I don’t live in this state. Finally a coffee shop you don’t have to worry about where all the ingredients come from and if they are organic or not."

"VERDICT: Very much worth the short drive off the beaten path. I highly recommend going there. The coffee is as excellent as the atmosphere and service. COFFEE: I had the nitro of a light roast Nicaraguan bean. Clean flavor with strong, blending notes common in a light roast. Lower acidity to my palate despite it being a central American roast. This likely comes from their dedication to right sourcing and clean methodology regarding the roast. (Had the pleasure of having a conversation with the head roaster.) SERVICE: Excellent. Quick, knowledgeable, and delivered to the table while I began my meeting. Table service is nice if you're looking to maximize time in your meeting or engagement. ATMOSPHERE: Quite clean, pleasing to the eye, yet not distracting. The music appropriately blunts the background noise of other conversations, but doesn't distract from your own conversation."
