"I was visiting a friend in town and was passing by and wanted to get coffee. The place has a cool vibe to it. They were packed and the whole place had a good feel to it. You know how you always hear about snobby baristas that talk to you with a lot of attitude? Well I never thought I’d see the day that it was going to be me on the receiving end of such horrible customer service. I thought wrong. Came in wanting a drip coffee and was asking the barista what they have currently brewed or if they can do a pour over of a lighter roast if they don’t have one already brewed. She listed off two brews and stared at me. I’m like “girl, you’re going to have to describe them to me, never heard of those before”. She described the two roast with exasperation and then tells me that they don’t do pour overs when I asked for a lighter roasted coffee. I’m not going to go into any more details but the rest of our conversation went the same way of her sounding annoyed that I decided to come into the shop. I pay for the coffee and leave her a 100% tip just to make her feel bad for being such a b with an itch. Im sure that did absolutely nothing, nor did it make her feel bad, but I’d rather act like a decent human being than to answer her with the same energy she was throwing my way. The coffee was fine, I’d maybe even have it again, but my gosh. I’ve never been spoken to like that or treated like that in my whole life at a coffee shop. Two stars because the coffee was good and the place looked like a great place to hang out. Three off because the baristas customer service needs help."
