What People Are Saying
from Google"FOOD ONLY REVIEW: Not my favorite. Got the Normal Guy w/ bacon. Cons: Outside of burritos was nuked and the bacon was grisly and floppy (I know some folks like it that way so my personal preference comes into play here). Also, had a hard time locating the cheese. Pros: the eggs were real egg and perfectly scrambled. Potatoes were nice and soft and seasoned well. The salsa is very tasty. Did I eat the burrito? Yes. Did the char overpower all the other flavors? Also yes. Would I pay $14 ($10 burrito + $2 bacon + $2 tip) for this again? I hope not. I really like the concept and we need a good burrito place DT but the execution is just not there."
"Two stars: Serving Size: Too large to be eaten as prepared. Entrees require utensils. Utensils not provided. Papas Rizz: Ordered with no modifications. Chorizo served undrained. House made queso split. Guacamole cannot be appreciated due to excess fats and oils. Potatoes may need to be studied as chemical dispersants for large oil spills. Two napkins placed under wrapping paper. Unable to use due to fats and oil transfer. Standard Issue: Sub sourdough. Bread was served evenly charred and homogeneously desicated. Standard issue scrambled eggs. Bacon is thick cut and cooked to moderate softness. This sandwich appeared to have been prepared on the space station and jettisoned to earth to cook during re-entry. Lemme know if you need a grill guy."
"I ordered "The One, Burrito" since it's the most expensive burrito and it was my first time. The pulled pork didn't seem spicy to me, but more super smokey, which wasn't bad, but it overpowered all the other ingredients, and was all I could taste. I could tell the ingredients were good quality. The ordering experience was super easy, as I ordered through the website and was able to pick up the burrito 10 minutes later, which makes it super convenient for someone on a time crunch. The staff was friendly. I may try the "Normal Guy, Burrito" down the road, but I definitely prefer other breakfast places around the downtown area that are a little less expensive, just as quick, and a little tastier."
"Man, Papas Rizz is to die for. These are my favorite breakfast burritos in town. But I’m a value guy, and the portions here seem to keep getting smaller - I’ve been pretty disappointed with the size lately despite the satisfaction of my taste buds. For me, a $14 breakfast burrito that isn’t massive isn’t a great value. That’s the only thing keeping me from a 5-star review and spending $14 here far more frequently. Otherwise love this concept and the execution!"
"Five stars for the best $14 Breakfast Burrito I’ve ever had. The cashier/order taker was pleasant and knowledgeable as they made suggestions off the menu. I appreciated the low priced drip coffee and the ice cold Pelegríno in the cooler was tempting. Can’t give less than 5 stars for the Pappa’s Rizz. Excellent quality tortilla, good portion of egg, potato and chorizo. Appreciate the small scoop of guac inside and the side of salsa outside. Properly wrapped in paper then foil kept it warm for the drive 20 minutes."
